Dear Awmber,
The next time you want to get tattooed, remember how much it hurts. Remember laying down in that awkward position for hours on end looking up at the ceiling. Remember that, even if your friends are there, you can’t really concentrate on talking to them because it feels like a hundred bees are stinging you per second. Remember that the longer you’re there, the more sensitive your skin gets. Remember how exhausting it is being tattooed for 4 and a half hours, and how you get so incredibly cranky by the end of the session. And for the aftercare, remember having to saran wrap, tape and hold your arm straight up when having a shower. Remember the feeling of having a 2nd degree sunburn that’s cracking and scabbing for a week or 2 afterwards.
The next time you decide to get tattooed, make sure that you break up the sessions, please! 4 hours is all you can physically handle before wanting to punch someone in the face, and I doubt your artist likes you by the end of it. Remember that you’re doing it to yourself, it’s not his fault it hurts.

oh wow! Way cool! I’ve never gotten a tattoo, though I have some ideas drawn up…but I’m so nervous about the pain! I’m terrible with pain, and reading about a hundred bees stinging me doesn’t sound like fun at all.
